2022/2023 Board Nominees

Delaney maintains a broad litigation practice with a focus on contractual and other business disputes. Delaney was born and raised in Saskatchewan. She received a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) from the University of Saskatchewan and a Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria. During law school, Delaney volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada for the MS Society of Canada. After completing her articles at Pushor Mitchell, Delaney was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2022.

Chuck has lived in and enjoyed all that Kelowna has to offer since 1981 and been with TEAM Construction since 1991. Chuck has participated in many levels within the company up to and including his current position as a Senior Project Manager. He has led the Canadian Home Builders Association of Central Okanagan through two separate terms as President and volunteers for the Salvation Army as well as the Heart and Stroke Foundation. He lives in Ellison with his wife and his greatest accomplishment are his two capable daughters.

Mark Danielson is a litigation lawyer at Pushor Mitchell LLP. He has a construction law practice with wide experience in builders lien enforcement proceedings, contractual disputes, and warranty disputes. He has always had an interest in the building industry which led him to his chosen career path as a construction lawyer. Mark moved to the Okanagan in 2008 and joined the CHBA-CO board of directors in 2019. He is looking forward to lending his experience and knowledge to the CHBA-CO board. Mark is an avid hockey fan and, when not in the office, can be found spending time with his family or travelling.

Allan and Shelley moved to Kelowna in 2013 for a significant lifestyle change and to launch their Stor-X Organizing Systems franchise. Allan has been involved in the design and construction business for over 30 years and believes strongly in the need for quality continuing education for members and a unified leadership team that represents the CHBA-CO to all levels of government. He joined the CHBA-CO in 2013 and is currently serving on the Membership Committee and has served in a similar position with the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce and looks forward to lending his experience to the CHBA-CO.

I grew up in the Okanagan and discovered my passion for accounting in Grade 12. I moved to Victoria, BC to obtain a BBA in Accounting which turned into obtaining my Chartered Accountant designation (CPA) in 2011. During my career, I have had exposure to many different businesses and industries, including construction, textile and bast fiber manufacturing, oil and gas services, and transportation while working in Victoria, BC and Calgary, AB. After being away from the Okanagan for 15 years, I moved back in 2020 to be closer to my family and ended up joining the Westwood team. I have learned a lot about the industry in such a short period and I find it interesting and exciting at the same time. I hold a strong skillset in financial accounting, change management, and process development. I take pride in being a lifelong learner and leader and I love to help people using my years of experience. When I am not in the office, I am spending time with my new family, golfing, snowboarding or enjoying the outdoors.

Jacob is a second-generation home builder having grown up in the home building industry. His early summers during high school and university were spent working and learning various aspects of new home construction. He has over 25 years experience working for new home construction spanning sales, marketing, business planning, operations and service and warranty in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia.
