OUR MISSION

The voice of Canada’s residential construction industry.

our vision

To play a strong and positive role for the housing industry. To keep our members informed and support their business growth and ability to provide affordability, quality and choice for consumers.

Our history

Since 1943, the Canadian Home Builders' Association (CHBA) has been "the voice of Canada's residential construction industry." Representing one of the largest industry sectors in Canada, the CHBA is a not for profit membership with over 8,500 companies – including home builders, renovators, land developers, trade contractors, product and material manufacturers, building product suppliers, lending institutions, insurance providers, and service professionals.

What we do

The CHBA Central Okanagan has ~250 members and is
proudly affiliated with both the provincial and national offices.
Membership provides industry advocacy, education, member
discounts, marketing support and resources to help member
companies thrive and grow. However, these benefits are not
clear to association members. There is an opportunity to clarify
the value offering of CHBA membership. To the public, the CHBA
desires to establish itself as a mark of quality and facilitate
connections with local building professionals.

The Canadian Home Builders' Association is one association representing the residential construction industry and serving our members at three levels - locally, provincially and nationally. All levels work closely together - when you join the CHBA CO, you automatically become a member at the local, provincial and national levels.
